oh cliff that is a long story,basically two days before the match the organisers still couldnt confirm that we had a referee so we called the match off, i didnt want to play it anyway as we would have had a £150+ loss on the night.

cliff i see the beds league is down to 14 clubs now, how long before theres just 13 LOL.

Lesbos - Yes I heard Riseley Sports pulled out of the League, I'll be very surprised if Southill Alexander last the season, Loosely and Sally thought they were going into it with their eyes open, they're supposedly astute business people but they have been well and truly caught with their trousers around their ankles haven't they.

'astute business people' i wouldnt go as far as that rhodesy,both have prospered in the closeted world of the public sector, they've always had the hard pressed taxpayer to fall back on and pick up the bill.

the fact is you have to know your market and they both know bugger all about non league football, thats bad though for the Beds league to have lost two teams already, at step 7 they cant need that much money to survive.

Leave it alone you two pair of clowns please ? Things ain't exactly running smoothly, but they very rarely do at most clubs. Not only will we see the season out but we'll be fully prepared wherever we wiil be for the 2010/11 season.

The reason 2 clubs have pulled out has nothing to do with money, it was because they were struggling to put sides out. The sooner you both get other your ridiculous & self pitying bitterness the better !

Neither wishing to confirm or deny your good authority but if so do you think it could possibly have anything to do with the fact that Bedfordshire is part of East Anglia?

Loosely - I always thought East Anglia was made up of Norfok, Suffolk and Essex and not Counties such as Cambridgeshire and Bedfordshire but if you say I'm wrong then fair enough, it's ridiculous though as you may as well throw in Merseyside, Cumbria and Derbyshire for good measure

You have to admit though that it makes a bit of a Brian Rix type French farce and laughing stock of the East Anglian Cup to have Southill Alexander in it, what if you drew Royston Town away for example, it could quite easily be another Arbroath v Bon Accord

Rhodes, I don't know what to tell you. English history for centuries has dictated that the county of Bedfordshire and in fact Hertfordshire also are part of East Anglia. I can't help it if the facts do not meet the fiction of your argument. As you are a civil servant perhaps you are better placed than I to seek a remedy but as far as I know what you first need is to seek an audience with her Majesty the Queen and gain her assent to alter the map of England and its administrative areas.
