Well done guys & to the travelling Blues Fan's.

Good to get the win in the end. Patched up team with the 6 noobies not eligible and 5 players injured. With 4 centre backs out, Baker played there alongside Cousins and we went with Frankis and Yao up front. Our options on the bench were limited to say the least!

Took the lead from a direct free kick awarded when their keeper handled outside the area. The keeper could probably consider himself a little fortunate not to have been sent off - certainly seen them given. The free kick was well struck by Green although the keeper got a hand to it. Burnham probably shaded the possession, but we had the better chances with 2 well struck shots from H needing to be saved.

Bit of a farcical 2nd goal from us - attempted clearance from their 6 hit chatting and rolled slowly over the line with the keeper nowhere. Good chasing from Yao to force the error.

They pulled a goal back when we didn't clear a corner, but were reduced to ten men when their 4 saw red for a nasty studs up challenge.

Worked hard for the win, I thought some of the "fringe players" stepped up to the plate well, Frankis had a good game for me as did Chatting and Yao (particularly 2nd half when he remembered to pass!)

An okay game where "route one" was the order of the day for the majority but still, we cleared our lines. I thought Chatting, Macca, Pond played well.

I'm pleased we went through but it wasn't pretty but I suppose condiering the team we put out and the team we were playing it was never going to be.

Hopefully this week, our new players have had a chance to settle down and perhaps we will take this into this Saturday. I personally would like to see Chatting picked over Wareham this Saturday as I think he deserves a try. One point (and I wouldn't advocate this in a league game) but Chatting played most of the game in the centre of midfield (after having a period on both wings) and looked quite comfortable there...Who knows. Be nice if someone gave him the responsibility to take free kicks as well as I have seen some spectacular goals coming from his left foot in those situations...

Well done to the players last night.

Another fine result from an average performance, but given the choices for the team, they did very well.

That's just one loss in 7 now - exactly the same as Chelsea and ManURe.

13 goals scored in that time coming from 6 different players shows that we have attacking strength in depth.

What a happy time to be a Blue.

Pleased to get through.

Our selection options were limited and they were at the top of their form so to come away with a win was a good result and effort. The football was far from pretty but quite frankly I'd happily take a few far from pretty wins right now.

Obviously the league is our overwhelming priority but progress in the minor cups will give our younger and less experienced players further opportunites in first team games.

I don't think I've ever seen so many cheesey chips!

Come on you Blues!!
