Updates Tonight?

Talking of which, I see Wardie's thugs have managed to get one of Dartford's players sent off.

Are these alleged 'thugs' any of the 5 ex Margate players in their team tonight who were little angels and our heroes at Margate under six months ago ?

You haven't really got the hang of this football supporting malarky, have you?

We played very well first half and totally dominated until we scored. Great move from Robinson and terrific left wing cross that Sammy Cliff buried with his head. Second half with admittedly lots of changes we were poor and could have conceded. Couple of smart saves from Wincup. Cliff good Robinson very good and Wayne Wilson was excellent first half. Q got and injury and limped up to the tea hut. JK and LB were unused subs. Poor old Corbishly had a reacurrence of his injury tragic the lad is a very good player.

Couple of things I haven't seen mentioned - Dan Young was warming up and looked fairly fit, Samson King was there too and there was a mystery man kicking around before kick off. I'm not the greatest with recognising people but I think there's a chance it was Ashford's Byron Harrison. They played at Fleet in the cup last night so if he didn't play maybe it was him. If he did play for Ashford it's fairly unlikely he elected to do his pre-match warm up for us at VCD...

Sorry to disappoint you Jeff but he was from Wealdstone, didn't get a name but am sure he came on as a sub in the FA Trophy against us if that helps?. Supposedly very pacy.

As for Corbs the lad was in tears on the way to his car and I am guessing that may well be the last we see of him. Dan hopefully will be back in a couple of weeks and Q has tweaked his hamstring but is still hoprful o playing Saturday.

No I just looked too, maybe it is but I seem to remember him being much wider, this lad is quite tall but slim. Saw Mark after game guess I should have asked him!

I think its too soon to say its the end of poor Roberto, maybe he was in too much of a rush to prove himself to the new manager. I have never seen him play, but if there is a chance we can get him fit, surely it must be worth sticking with if he is as good as I hear he is?
