getting really worried about injuries here, are they accidental or are our players getting kicked off the park. As for an insignificant cup, ANY silverware at Margate would be very very welcome, and I dont think you can treat ANY cup game as insignificant, all players should want to win every match.

Not that it will make any difference to the result, but its refreshing to me that this time there has not been one post about how unimportant this cup is etc etc.

 

To me-it is important for all sorts of reasons-and it seems that this year-the vast majority of fans are thinking similarly.

It is important in as far as we need to get into the habit of winning regularly - something we have forgotten to do in recent years. My terming of it as 'relatively unimportant' refers to fact that there's little or no kudos in winning it (look at Ramsgate) and little prize money either.
