Would it not be a good idea for WEFC to given discount/free admission to those ex and current servicemen in Windsor? After all there is quite a few of them and i've heard they like a drink or two!? This has been brought up many a time but not alot done about it. Now that we seem to be getting our heads screwed on in a commercial aspect it'd be silly not too. Have them do a Lucky Number draw to launch it or something along those lines!?

This is being dealt with and was looked into starting a few weeks ago but it clashed with the Farnborough game, and as that was a cup match we could not let them in for free.

 

This will be addressed again I am sure.

Not only is it being addressed but there is also a very big event in the pipeline for later in the season.

We've actually been upstaged on this by Bracknell...!

 

 

Bracknell Town would like to announce that they have reduced admission prices indefinitely....

In addition, anyone with an Armed Forces card will also be admitted for FREE.

 

Today would seem as good a date as any to announce a similar plan of our own, but I'm pleased that we're doing something - not because it might be commercially helpful, or not, but because it's the right thing to do...

Agree 100% and any benfits for the club are just a bonus.

Just seen on the club website that we are now offering free entry to the Armed Forces...

 

Well done to the club for doing this, I hope the Soldiers take advantage of this!

You'd hope so. We must have some contacts with the barracks after all one or two supporters are recent ex-servicemen who've moved to the area!
