Just a question not a criticism, I and I am sure many others bought shares in the club when we were asked to help during the summer, when i bought mine i was told the share certificate would be sen to me in a few weeks, well its now been a few months and I have received nothing, just wondered if anyone here had been successful ??

I believe Richard Piper mentioned this at the forum meeting and is in the process of sorting them, though I am not 100% certain on that, will try and find out tonight.

Yes it was mentioned at the meeting in the clubhouse with the directors, he responded to my question, saying that it was to be discussed at the Board meeting which was on the following Monday, just seems that a few more weeks have passed by and there has been no statement about it. No doubt I will be accused of "moaning" but my concern is that the club were very keen to request our help financially in return for shares in OUR club, but since they got the money from us we have heard nothing, if it has been discussed there must be some statement surely letting us all know the position, its that communication word again, I just think we dont do it very well.

Yes, but what exactly are you going to do with these shares? It's not as if they give you any power. People bought them to help the club pay off the tax bill. Or do you just want a nice certificate to look at?

Being a shareholder entitles the holder to attend the AGM and receive the Treasurers report could be interesting reding as these are not usually disclosed when only the directors are present, and anyway I entered into a contract with the club and want them to do thier bit or inform us what the position is !!!

I would have asked GT but the director who would have known the answer somehow got lost trying to find ground and ended up going back home
