Hanwell beat Hatfield today 1-0, Hatfields tactics were to put 10 men behind the ball from the halfway line, very disciplined which is a compliment it took a late Pen to win it and the run of draws is ended.

Anyway - Oxhey Jets. We knew they were a difficult side, and they're even more difficult at their place. Not lost there since Sept 12. Three very busy strikers, and a bit of aggression. The ref let a lot go, but was pretty inconsistent when it came to challenges in the middle - maybe he already had his mind made up about a couple of players early on. Their goal came from a lapse in defensive concentration eight minutes from time, our goal came from an awful gaffe from their keeper with three to go - I think it deflected off his bum before it went over the line. I'll take the point quite happily, even more so after seeing the other results.

Not SSMFL related but due to traffic problems on the A406 I couldn't get from East London where I was working to Finchley to watch ETFC so i re-jigged and visited Wadham Lodge to watche Mauritius Sports 0 Bethnal Green United 6 in the ESL....Two of BGU's goals i caught on video for all to see... one is a excellent free kick.. http://www.thecoldend.blogspot.com

Just a few honest points that may nullify the d1ckheads. Today was a bad day for SAFC. The 1st half was reasonably even & for the final 15-20 mins we had enough chances to put the game to bed. We didn't take those chances & we went in at half-time 0-0.

What happened in the 2nd half was awful. I don't think I have witnessed as group of talented players perform so poorly. The Attitudes of several players were poor & I felt embarrassed being in charge of that performance.

If Richard is casting me as 'Dumb' or 'Dumber' he is wrong because there were no positives. We lost 4-0 to an average side. No excuses other than that we were shocking for 45 mins. You can post all your lies, but this is the truth. Everyone still connected with the club feels hurt about today, but that's football. It's all about highs & lows. But everyone still connected is in this for the long haul & the challenge now is to improve & gain some respectability back on the playing front.

So all the rumour mongers & Liars, feck off & leave us alone & go & concentrate on your own sorry lives. Some people have put in a hell of alot of effort in getting this project off the ground & to see that being belittled & ridiculed by bitter & twisted Saddos' is hard to take.

We can all take banter, but lies & spitefulness should have no place on this forum.

Hatfields disciplinary record is terrible and they will never reach the level they are capable of due to missing their best players for long periods, i believe their most influential player has been suspended for the rest of the season due to an incident after he had been sent off, when they have a full team to pick from hatfield are a match for anyone in the prem division.

are you serious? ha ha ha... hanwell was in control for 90mins, all hatfield did was play with 10 defenders and waste time from the 1st min until they fell behind... hanwell also had 5 of there best players out, how you can say hanwell was lucky, you must have been watching a different game.

So you've just discovered AFC Dunstable have you? You remember us discussing Div2 some time ago, when you were scoffing at clubs at that level? .. and how I said there were some strong sides only held back by lack of facilities. AFC Dunstable have been a top side for some seasons and it's no surprise that they are doing well in the very average Div 1.
