What a shambles our club is in.Matt Hall was in trouble with his injury and they called for a stretcher only for the management to be more con cerned with what changes can be made. When it did arrive a supporter had to go onto the pitch to help carry him off.

Which supporter exactly went on?...If one did go onto the pitch power to him but from where I was standing, the stretcher was called and delivered and Brian followed, amougnst others very soon after to lend a hand in getting Hall on it and get him off...You need more than two people to carry a stretcher comfortably.

Strange how when a man is condemed, we start seeing things which don't exist... If we're gonna criticize him, lets stick to what we actually see on the pitch and not make it up...next you'll be having a go at the elves that live at the bottom of the ground.

Ha Yes,I knew it! its was them :gotcha: the reason we lost.

I guess the League Table is there for a reason....we have let 18 goals in this season so far, which is not bad looking at the other teams, however isn't it obvious that the problem lies in our absolute lack of scoring goals?

I miss the quick turns, shots on goal and excitement we used to get with Bradley, Joe and Billy and find it confusing as to why a rather lethargic player with a lack of pace is up front starting nearly every game with no chance of nicking goals anywhere.

I thought we started at a very good pace, and was extremely optimistic, but I still for the life of me cannot understand how Matt's injury changed the course of the game entirely ! (best wishes to him as he is a very good player) - BUT One player does NOT run a whole team surely ?!? If so...Help !

Hitting the bar (good header by the way) may have been unlucky, as was the post incident in the second half (Hows yer luck there )! - But aside, i really cannot think of a save their keeper made, and this has been (from the games) I have seen, a common theme. We keep playing across the park with some decent build up, but when it comes to braking through a defence, and shooting on target, we fail dismally (Just my opinion).

We have scored 3 goals at home in the league - Now then, i am not a rocket scientist, but that is more than the look of a relegation team to me, cos home points have been our bread and butter in seasons gone by when our away form was not so solid.

I guess we just got to see if the new players/loanees that have been drafted in "gel", But and a BIG BUT, It sure does need to happen sooner rather than later.

Once again, the folk who run this club, the volunteers and the fans were let down (imo)

I presume the person about whom you refer as having no chance of nicking goals anywhere is the same person who has scored 6 in the last 7 games?

I think it'a four in the last 7, if you include Saturdays defeat; but 6 from the last 8 games. However 2 of those were in a friendly against Braintree and three against lower league opposition in the Trophy.

Fact is that in terms of league games, and it's the league form that's of most concern, against Ryman Premier defences he has not yet reached the standard needed, and we're running out of time.

29 games to go and an average of 1.4 points per remaining game would give us 50 points; and I think even 50 points sucked Boring Wood into needing a reprieve from relegation a couple of seasons back. We averaged 1.33 a game over last season, so we need a significant improvement and every game that delivers less than at least a point makes it a lot more difficult.

I don't know when we can expect to see Billy back but, with all due respect to "Bakes" & Luca (and even BWG at present) that in-form striker is a major part of the jig-saw that's missing at the moment, in my opinion.

Mike Marsh and Bradley Hooper seem to be scoring for fun for the U18s. Worth a punt?

In my opinion "bringing on" the best of the reserves/U18's/Youngsters is a luxury that clubs can afford to do when things are going right.

Maybe we'll be looking at the next level down for someone who's regularly finding the net and wants to try and prove themselves at a step up.

Anyone making waves in Ryman North or South at the moment? Someone who'll hit the ground running?

No, but I did watch a lot last season and saw how H & Luca stood out, and yet became very "ordinary" when making the step up to the 1st IX. We know it's a big jump and they are both looking a lot more comfortable now. But we don't have the luxury of time on our side. If Marsh and/or Hooper can come in and make an immidiate impact, then I'm all for it. I'll take your advice a sneak a look :-)

I've seen a bit of the ressies and under 18 s of late.

I think Harrison is ready to be part of the squad and maybe used a bit more often - I'd quite like to see him start tonight (against Burnham). In my view Luca is a long away from being ready for first team football. He needs to get fitter and also define his position in the team - he rarely seems to play up front for the ressies these days.

I haven't seen enough of Hooper to pass comment but I've seen Marsh play a few times and he seems to have the useful habit of finding the net. He needs more time though and needs to get stronger before he can be considered for first team football. A few may remember Tom Poole - he was prolific at under 18 level but never really progressed. Marsh needs to avoid falling into that trap.

Where is Dean Etchells by the way........

Released by the current management at the start of the season. Received a call last week strangely enough.
