Bedfont Sports 0 Cobham 1

also heard Worc Park 3 MVSCR 3

Westfield 3 hartley 4

Pretty comfortable win for us up to last 10 where we hung on for dear life. Missing 7 regular first team starters so good result and good performance from the players who came in.

3 points is all that counts so I'm happy.

That's a weird jinx of these 5-2 home defeats! Thought you'd beat them comfortably today....

Bookham 0-3 Chertsey

2 late goals for Chertsey, 1 a cross that floated in and a deflected shot in the last 5 mins flatters Chertsey, Bookham deserved point but missed a open goal at 1-nil down !!!!!

Oh forgot, poor referee for both side, think he swollowed the whistle !!!!

Funny thing that happened, Lightning McQueen gets a nose bleed when he went over the half way line :giggle:

Croydon Municipal 3 v 2 Chobham not much of a game today at the Arena,Municipal were 3-0 up but a late sustained rally by Chobham pulled back 2 goals, and they had a late shout for a penalty turned down.I must say I am personally becoming disillusioned with this League, yet on another occassion an Official failed to show up.Will he be reported and fined.Whereas Chobham who had problems in traffic getting here, and arrived late will be reported to the LEAGUE THRO NO FAULT OF THEIRS for being late.

The club's and the officials (that did turn up) need to report it to the referee sec / assistant ref sec of the league and they will investigate why the official did not turn up and take action if it's not a valid reason, Chobham should also advise the league the reasons why they were delayed and that it was out of there control but they must show that they left plenty of time to travel !!!!

Wattsy,

Thought wrong mate, however having said that i think the team thought they would but you cannot excuse poor decision making and poor defending, we were simply not good enough today and have not been at the races at all this season and no where near like last season. The strange thing is the squad this season is more or less the same as last season.

Today we missed the influence of Ian Savage and Stephen Greene, both away, having said that on paper we should have enough quality to do better then we are at present with or without them. Our home form is rubbish, in each game we have lost at home we have lost by 3 goals or more, not good enough if you want to be challenging for honours.

The only one's to come out of today's performance with any pride was the skipper Nick Darnell and Mark Tomlinson

To put it a nutshell - Today was not exceptable

Knapmeister - Baker did not score, Nick Darnell got both!

Rant and Moan Over, now back to normal life!!!

After playing Lammas last month and Knappers last weekend, I have to say Knaphill are bar far the better side. However the beauty of football is that anyone can beat anyone! That's why we love the game!

Teffs, thanks for your reply,so when we have to go to Hartley Witney for a 7.30pm kick off, what would be a reasonable time to leave from Croydon, seeing as it took us 2hrs 45 mins on a saturday due to traffic, arriving at 2.58pm.Yet when i went to watch Badshot lea 2 days later, trip only took 1 HR.

Egham Town 8-0 Dorking.

I await the official report with interest!

The match had a strange first half which ended with us two goals up. The Dorking keeper wanted (and got) the game halted because he had not come out with the right boots despite having plenty of time to sort it out beforehand. That was after we had had a perfectly good goal ruled out by a clearly unfit assistant who limped throughout the entire match. He just could not keep up with our forwards; neither could Dorking's "defence". Still, we got a penalty when 5-0 up with the ball probably having just gone out of play. We missed enough chances to win three games, which was a shame as when we shot on target we tended to score. Dorking were, in truth, utterly woeful. Even their chairman said it should have been ten, when at the time we were only 6-0 up. Someone had this coming to them after the two great wins at Banstead (another very poor side at the moment) and Bedfont (can't comment on them; I wasn't there). I am not about to start predicting anything though. 40 years of watching the Sarnies teaches us few mad diehards the dangers of PMT (premature match triumphalism). Still, Matt Graves is not the same player he was when with us last season - thankfully. He grabbed his first Sarnie hat-trick (goals two, three and four) and new man Steve Coultas scored with only his second touch, the first being to control the ball. And Lee Pearce is assuming heroic proportions for us...

Hi TT - have to comment i have seen your guys twice this season after watchin you a number of times last. Saw you against Eversley a couple of weeks ago and you were outclassed (even with todays missing superstars)....2-1 against flattered you big time! saw you again today and one or two of you so called superstars weren`t anywhere near their reputations and it could have been more more tham five .... whatever the excuses!. I see you have lights on the way but IMO unless you repalce some older for younger you are only goning one way. Your manager has a big rep...and an even bigger ego but time moves on.... harsh but Div 1 has got better.... sorry for the reality check!! :)
