Sad to say that the result was about all we deserved. we were basically second best to the ball and less creative when with it. Wingate had a couple of very effective players in particular the 9, 10 and 11 who ran our back line ragged.

 

I suppose its what should be expected with so many changes to our starting X1. Additionally our midfield were AWOL and out fought.

 

Tougher games are coming up and we are shipping in goals in 3's and 4's

Enjoyed the afternoon at Wingate - but not the result. Loved the banter from the Town fans who kept singing even at 4-1 down.It was good to meet up again with the ex Edgware Town players and supporters as well.

Trust your fans will make loads of noise next Saturday. Good fortune for the rest of the season.
