To all services personel until christmas at all home games at the bridge

On top of this gaffer has said if they ask for him he will get them a free burger and beer.

Just the sort of thing the club should be doing,cracking idea and hopefully will bring a few more people into the games

My only dissapointment with this is that it appeared in a very small column in the recorder,although it was on the back page.

Nice gesture, but are there many who serve in the forces free on a Saturday? Most are either out in the sand pit, or confined to barracks..

It would be nice if we could let our boys and girls in free, when they are back home on leave, all the time and not just till christmas. I doubt the war will be over by christmas as much as we would love it to be. If our boys and girls are there when i am at a game it would be a Honnor to buy them a drink.

I agree with nemo but lets just concentrate on the "free till xmas" first.

I believe that members of the armed forces should get free entry to most places,ie cinemas,clubs etc unfortunatly we have too many tossers in this country who would take offence
