Bit harsh,I accept we can quite easily get p1ssed off with other clubs and enjoy ceating a dislike to them just for fun. However I dont think that Wingate are any more or less a standard of facilities than the vast majority of clubs at our level if not our league. I brought along 4 boys to the game (I personally think we all need to encourage in getting the avearage age of our fan base down) and Wingate allowed them in for free, as U16's, good for them and also Northwood who also have that policy. I gob on VCD though who charged my boys £5 entry each, so much for getting youngsters into footy there. I think we should increase our adult entry fees to £8 and let the U18's in for free at our home matches.

I took both my girls there in our Southern LEague season, one is in a wheelchair and was charged £4 each. N concession was offered either. The ground is a s4it hole too!

My dad can't go there with his poor eyesight as there are little bits of metal sticking up behind one ground, gaps between the concrete and grass at he other end and other obstacles that have to be stepped over all aqround the ground. How they pass a safety check surprises me.

 

Plus the bar is crap!!!

Best playing surface in the league by a country mile though, certainly don't see it as any worse than others in our league, certainly better than the wabbey & ilford.
