Including the3 defenders we have signed 3 more. One being BWG

In a busy day of transfer dealing, Brian Statham has added another 3 players to his squad.

Danny Slatter

The 28 year-old, former Welsh Under 21 international, almost signed for us in May, but the deal fell through.

Slatter, who usually plays centre midfield but can also play on the right, has been at Farnborough Town and then Carshalton Athletic (loan) this season. Prior to this he spent 4 seasons at Blue Square Premier outfit Ebbsfleet United. He started out as a trainee at Chelsea, where he became Reserve team captain, before going on loan to Cardiff City, Dundee United and Walsall. After leaving Chelsea in 2002 he played for Chelmsford City and then Welling United before joining Ebbsfleet.

Gareth Street

24 year old central midfielder joins us on a permanent deal from Heybridge Swifts, where he was club captain. Has previously played at Chelmsford City, Brentwood Town, Welling United, Tonbridge Angels and Wivenhoe Town.

Bradley Woods-Garness

Bradley, 23, rejoins us on a month's loan from Sutton United. Went on loan from Billericay to Dartford towards the end of last season, before signing permanently for Sutton. Plays up front or wide on the right. Has also had stints at Barnet and Farnborough Town.

Pond ahead of Street for me. Otherwise I'd go for that.

Some good signings there, on paper at least. When all are fit, the squad looks a lot more balanced and stronger. Danny Slatter I think is OK for Trophy, BWG played for Sutton, Street played for Haybo.

Certainly seem to be some decent signings in that little lot.

I think BWG will be played primarily up the middle.

Pacey going forward with Wareham, Green & BWG.. not forgetting H, either.

Looking promising. Lets hope they deliver.
