New Signing

 

The club are delighted to announce the signing of Chris Sullivan on a trial period following his release from Billericay Town by mutual consent. Having started his career with Stevenage Borough, he went on to play for Braintree Town and AFC Wimbledon before signing for our Essex rivals at the start of the season. A pacy 22-year old winger/striker, Chris will go straight into the squad for tomorrow's fixture at home to Waltham Abbey.

Remember he played against us for Tooting last season and looked a decent player.

From what i understand he is pleased to be away from New Lodge..

 

He has great potential so thats hope he does well for us

Alot of problems at Billericay with players being chopped and changed all the time. Hopefully, he'll realise his potential with us.

Good player with a great attitude to the game. We (at Braintree) were disappointed when he left us to go to Wimbledon in 2008 and were awarded £3500 at a tribunal.

 

Now free from injury, you've got yourselves a goof 'un there.

He never seemed to get going for us imo. There was the potential, he is quite skillfull, but not very physical and not very tall. He never seemed up for it to me. It might have been a manager clash, but Statham said when he brought him in that he had been tracking him for a while and was an admirer. Just left with the feeling that we never got to see the best of him for whatever reason. I have a sneeking suspician that he will score for you on Boxing Day, no doubt your winner!
