Just received a PM asking if there was going to be a pre-Xmas soiree this year. So what is the general opinion?

It would have to be on Friday, which rules all players out (apart from Golby), so just to start the ball rolling...

Friday December 4, back at the summer venue of Doggets, Coat and Badge?

I know that at my advancing years I tend not to travel too far out of leafy Surrey, but I'm sure posters from other forums might be interested. J.
