Fridge Magnets

Whilst working yesterday I took the opportunity to look at a display of Fridge Magnets. You know, the ones with proverbs and sayings on them. Some dreadful slushy ones but some quite witty and apt!

 

For example............

 

"For a woman to be thought of as half as good as a man she has to do things twice as well. Luckily this is not difficult"!!!

Oh you're all so boring and predictable these days. Another one I read yesterday is extremely relevant in the circumstances.......

I go to Curry's or Comet and get them to deliver one.

So, there's no truth in the rumour, that the biggest magnet on Halifax's fridge reads,

 

"CHECK WEIGHT BEFORE OPENING DOOR !"

I trust you mean that because I am only 5 foot 2 inches and the fridge is over 6 foot that I have to be very careful when I open the door that it does not fall on top of me.
