anybody who was at the game yesterday must admit that it was a full bloodied tackle and not just a tap on the ankle on billy coyne,bit of a debate between the fans as to the right and wrongs on wether the leaf player should have bin sent off,players reaction is normally a give away imo the ref got it right u only had to see the state of billys ankle after the game hopefully not to serious and get well soon mate

Billy didn't look too good when he came into the clubhouse after the game. The ref was well positioned when the tackle came in, have to go with him on that one -looked to be a nasty tackle from where I was but I'm obviously biased.

Most of the Leafe support think it was a yellow as there was no intent and he went for the ball,but it was late and definitely full-blooded,i am going to say "i did'nt see the incident due to my flag-waving duties"

With respect, I'm pretty sure intent doesn't enter into it. The laws of the game state that serious foul play is a red card offence - there is no mention of intent.

It would be a silly player who at 1-0 would go out to deliberatly injure a player.It was a foul and probably a red but i don't think he actually intended to do harm to billy,player was possibly just over excited.

Agree with the above. I don't believe for a minute there was any intent to deliberately hurt Billy either

Billy's a good player for us and another right back has recently left us. We put out a strong side yesterday

Yeah leafe,it was a first 11 we put out,we didn't play well at all but that happens in cup ties against lower opposition,maybe we underestimated them although with our management team i doubt it,i think we just had one of those days,you got amongst us and should of won the game in all honesty.I am more than happy with the draw as it gives me something to do this tuesay.

I would expect us to win the replay but footballs a funny old game at times.
