The better team won on the day...goes to show how strong Concord are when they replace suspended Taylor with another quality player in Ross Wall.

Hopefully this 'blip' will be turned into a winning run!!

Yes the better team won however.....

We were not overrun.

A goal cleared off the line, a very good save from Fabio and Rudi's shot missing by inches the result could easily have been different.

Byfield made his debut and looked very good. First time I saw Kirby and he impressed.

OK they were without one or two players but we were missing both of our main strike force and it showed. I thought that we were better in the second half.

All in all a pretty dull game - thankfull that it was not 3 points dropped. Note that GWR are sitting top of the league and that ETU thrashed Cheshunt 6-1. I still believe we will be there or thereabouts at the end of the season and consider that this team is still in the building stage.

A disappointing result for all Town fans, but not the end of the world. It would have been nice to reached the next round, but this was always going to be a difficult one and, let's face it,we have made much more money this season from the FA Cup and FA Trophy than we ever did last season.

Think Steve and Del are doing a good job. They haven't been with us very long, it's still very early days, but they are definitely turning thing around, signing some decent players, and creating a genuine feeling of optimism that we can achieve one of the all important play-off places.

Keep up the good work chaps we are all behind you and the lads.

Disappointing result. If Blackburne (S) and Wallace are going to be out for a while I think we need someone else to play alongside Minniti. Putting Valenti there means we lose his approach work, and at the moment the only option on the bench is wee Shane. Is Billy Healy worth another go?

My photos should now show up on Flickr. The later ones are my first go under lights and I'm not entirely happy with the results. Not sure if I need different software or a new camera.

One of the talking points of yesterday - the programme! Free with an £8.00 fee.

Details from the secretary talking about the early rounds of the FA Cup in August and the forthcoming trip to Lowestoft in August! Report was dated April 2010!

Programme notes also said we came down from the Ryman Premier League!

Performance IMO was lacklustre. It will be interesting to see how we change the formation to suit us without Wallace and Blackburn up front.

Some interesting observations Andy.

Sorry to read your view of our performance. How long will Wallace and Blackburn be absent, and what about our three new signings, will they strengthen the team in the required areas?

Sounds like the Concord programme was a real hoot. At least it raised a few eyebrows and laughs'to help lighten the mood on the journey home. Maybe not!!

That's ok with me as I never read away programmes and personally find them all a waste of money, if wasn't free I wouldn't bother with them. (my copy will be donated to the club shop)

now there's a thing I'm the opposite I never buy the home programmes as I think they are all thesame full of adverts & dull, I only buy programmes for clubs I visit for the 1st time.

I agree the home prog gives you nothing new and with only a handful being sold not sure it even pays for itself

So the away prog is value to you when it just says welcome to us, has about their last game, their next game and our club history that you get in every away prog because it's what we send? :coffee (2):

Are you one of the people who later on complain that you get told nothing about what is happening at our club even though it's been available in the last few home progs?

Agree with MbrunoB... the home programme contains the manager's views on how we've been playing and which players are available / injured etc, usually an update on the QE, or some other information as to how things are progressing off the pitch, as well as other useful club news.

Personally, I don't buy one, but my Dad always does, and I try to read his at half time / afterwards.
