Tony DeLaFou who I did my (now defunct) radio show with saw that Sex Pistols 100 Club gig. He has been to thousands of gigs since then and he still says that was the best one ever!

 

Punk (real punk not that Blink 182 yank [****!!****]) is ace, it was a massive youth movement as well. I wish I was 17 when it was about.

Actually people who were about 17 in 1977 were well lucky, they had punk and they may of had the annoyanace of the 80's but when they reach 27 the whole rave movement started, followed by Madchester, which was the biggest youth movement since punk.

Sex Pistols ¡V Quality, great songs, great live, started the movement, invented the genre

Clash ¡V 1st Class

Blondie ¡V Never forgive her for ¡¥french kissing in the USA¡¦, otherwise ace

Ocean Colour Scene ¡V pretty good

Idlewild ¡V brilliant, although early stuff was much better

Semisonic ¡V ****** off

Bluetones ¡V still good

Blur ¡V yes except when they go all ****** on us

Dodgy ¡V splendid band, met the lead singer, good bloke

Stone Roses ¡V Debut album one of the best ever, second one crap, difficult band to mark because of the 2nd album, can you really be one of the greats with just 2 albums ¡V one of which was ******?

Northside ¡V LSD, nuff said
