Only saw the second half. looks like a lot of work to do.

I have not seen much 1st team football this season as I am with the ressies most Saturdays BUT, from what I saw 2nd half they need a shake up.

Shame about Ben Lewis's Injury, a broken finger I believe.

Reminded why I don't like going to Southwood, little guy in his late forties making snide comments behind us, just loud enough to be heard then, ducking. No need for it. grow up.

Correct Graeme, the second half wasn't up to much but the gaffer changed things around at half-time & that clearly showed with the disruption of the team that started the game. It WAS however a different story in the 1st half. Shame you missed it. Some good football played in that half & 4-1 up at the mid-way point could have been a couple more.

Yes,to be fair & to put things into perspective, apart from a couple or three first teamers Ramsgate weren't at full strength it has to be said.

VERY impressed with Dan Stubbs who showed immense pace (more than I recall him showing last time here & that was quite pacey then) but its just a shame that his finishing is way out at present. He could have had a hat-trick himself tonight had he had his shooting boots on. Nevertheless he was still very impressive tonight.

The big guy up front,King, impressed me too with some good touches. Just needs to get fitter as he was blowing hard a few times. I can see him working well alongside of Blackman up front when fully fit.

The exercise was for the new boss to access the players & I'm sure he got some idea about them & what they can do. A worthwhile night for him I would have thought.

All about opinions, in the end ours don't count, but I thought in the first half JK was caught in possesion to much, Cutis was nervous of the new management and Samson KIng was well off the pace. Second half did'nt go for the kill, just did as they were told, i.e. keep the ball, practice passing (words of the manager)Joe Taylor grows in stature each time I see him, therefore it should be him before KIng.

Agree Derek, I thought Joe played well in 2nd half and a shame he was offside when he put the ball in the net. Dan Stubbs, as previously stated, was superb last night, running the midfield IMO, only spoilt by his finishing.

All in all a good work out for the lads and thanks to Ramsgate once again for letting this happen, Good to meet Mace, Colin , Mick again too.

Was impressed by Dan Stubbs (although needs to control his head), Curtis and Llyod Blackman.

Though Samson King was of the pace and needs to be fitter.

Back four were not really tested although distribution was quite good.

There was plenty of talking going on but think they all wanted to impress Mark.

Then again I'm only making these judgements on 1 game, looking forward to seeing more tho !

Good run out for Ramsgate Reserves shame they rested 3 or 4 for the reserves quarter finals of the cup Saturday. Got to put it in perspective Margate first team vs a make shift reserve side. First time ive seen Margate for about a year due to family commitments and wasnt impressed they seam to lack the togetherness of previous teams. They didn't look like they had a leader on the pitch. Maybe it was because they were trying to impress Butler or are they like this every week ? The new management team talk a good game and seam guenuinely knowleageable about the game as a whole I can see things turning around very soon and the introduction of a lot of new faces at Hartsdown Park.
