So what sort of a team did we put out to lose 4-1 to Witham Reserves? Were our two new strikers used to get them match fit or were they saved for the first team?

It seemed to me to be a reserve team with one or two 1st team subs. Up to half time it was very evenly matched with a beautiful goal from Harrison Chatting.

 

I have a feeling it all went a bit pear shaped when the ref and his assist's did not have waiter service during the half time break as it all went to pot soon after.

 

That was the long answer to most of your question.

 

The short is they may have done better with a bit of support "on the side lines"

I can tell exactly what happen? The first half was just as you said.

But the second was a display of poor park football had by players ( forwards ) that will never make it.

And reading the body language by the John & Paul on the side lines, it was surely not their doing????

It seems one to many chefs in the kitchen.(maybe at half time!)
