what is in my package?

 

I got home today to find a card from Securicor telling me that they tried to deliver a package, but as I wasn't here they took it back to their deopt. Thing is, I have absolutely no idea what it could be. I haven't ordered anything, I haven't entered any competitions.

 

I've received plenty of junk mail in the past, but I can't believe companies would go to the hassle of paying Securicor to deliver me junk packages. I might go and pick it up tomorrow, so you have 24 hours to guess what it could be.

A. Unlikely, unless someone else has done so for me!

 

B. Also unlikely as I only have about 7 relatives, and I know none of them would have sent me anything.

 

C. You've worried me now! They wouldn't really send that by post - would they? (come to think of it - I don't think I've done anything summonsable)

Effem Sell. My serious guess, in all seriousness, being completely honest, is that the package is something from Czech Republican (neé Nuneaton) Dave, like a book, or a bomb, or something

Could be my bloody computer ordered on April 9th and will be here in 7-10 days.

 

Since then they have taken it to the wrong address, given me wrong numbers, i've sat on the phone tracking it down, it's been taken back to the warehouse, it was dispatched again 3 weeks ago, to be delivered in ..... 7-10 days <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" />

 

I'm not too bothered as I wouldn't have time to set it all up (and I haven't been in but they are suppost to let you know they've been and leave a number so you can arrange another time) but when I call them I will pretend I'm very pissed off and threaten all sort's of negative publicity, unless I get a 3yr warranty (RRP £199)

I don't know yet, and annoyingly I might not even find out till the weekend. I forgot that I don't finish work till 6.30 today, and I'll have to pick it up from London Colney

If it's a bomb you could also be picking it up from Colney Heath, Shenley, Cottonmill...
