Jk146 - I haven't been to Padbury but, as you say, the walk from the changing rooms to the pitch at Stony Stratford Town would test 3 Para and 42 Commando, it's not ideal and they really need to get some changing rooms built much closer to the hallowed Ostlers Lane pitch.

I've been to Padbury FC, but I haven't been to Stony Stratford. Well I have, but not to the football ground.

I played at Padbury last season, although having managed to avoid Stony over the years I suspect Padbury is a much better away day experience by what I saw there and what I've heard about Stony.

Stony is one of the best grounds to visit if it is a Cup match and it's as boring as fk, time you walk to get half time refreshments and finish them you could get all the way back in time for the penalty shoot out, therefore having missed probably a drab second half and the entire extra time too.

Like Coles Park is being considered for the 2012 Olympic swimming event, the distance from the dressing rooms at Stony to the pitch is being considered by the Olympic committee for the marathon, think though it might be a bit over the 26 miles....LOL.

Ref Off Ref - What did you think of the Copthall Stadium when you attended for the 3-3 draw on the first day of the 2007/2008 campaign, it's certainly one of the better, if not the best, Athletics Stadiums for viewing football and not a Croydon or an Erith Town

To be honest felt a bit too far away from the action, thought the Ref was deaf as I tried to give him constant abuse, but then realised he had no chance of hearing me sat that far away LOL

I suppose that you never imagined Kentish Town would take the Division by storm that season, they didn't play particularly well that day although didn't have Lee Scott otherwise it would have been no contest
