The best ones are at night, when you can just watch from the window. They have some good ones up at my mum's in Norfolk.

 

Best one I remember was about two years ago at night - the sky completely lit up, and it was so loud and went on for ages! Quality!!

There's been nothing here in the city - the London one. I always miss storms. They either fizzle out by the time they reach Hx or I sleep through them!

 

However, hopefully it won't be raining at 5:30 as I can't use an umbrella until I get rid of these damned crutches!!! Grr....

That storm was a bit disappointing AND it made me late for work. Although, trying to drive in the rain was fun (my mum was driving) and I think we soaked a few pedestrians along the way! <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

 

I love storms too. I used to be a bit scared of them when I was younger but I also liked to watch them. So, when there was a storm my brother would make a little shelter out of the cushions from the sofa next to the window and me being a little 'un I was convinced I'd be safe! We used to turn off all the lights and just sit in our shelter watching the storm. Oh happy days!
