I had it at home and decided to scan it at lunchtime!!

 

It's from the Hitchin away game in November 2001 - the day I met Mrs Zeal! There are a couple of other good ones too! I have built up quite a collection of EFM piss-up photos over the years!!

 

GHA doesn't seem to be in any of them, mind!!

Good day that, actually. Most people decided to stay in the Crown to watch England/Sweden. Bloody glad I didn't though!!

I remember calling you that morning to see if you fancied Hitchin instead of England, you took a bit of persuding but eventually you came!

In the end it was just me, you, Carl and Ben, Tom and Anthony, and the lawyer. Got a great pic of the lawyer actually, wearing a postman's uniform sitting on a bike outside their clubhouse! Got to be seen to be believed!!

Yeah, it was one of those that, at the start of the day, was expected to become 'just another away trip'.

 

But it turned into a top one - a real good laugh!!
