If any of you have time to waste (like me) and know you are a better manager than Terry Yorath and Mark Butler, I have just installed the demo of CHAMPIONSHIP MANAGER 2010, and the game is playable down to ryman north,south level, including Margate in the ryman premier with our actual start of season squad, and looks to me pretty accurate name wise rather than a load of made up names.

Football Manager 2010 is out on Friday, and the Ryman League is playable if you add the league in the editor. I update the stats for us so I'd like to think we're fairly accurate, although we'll start with players like Nicholls, West, Bernard, Lawrence etc. The January patch will update the team though. Having played both CM10 and FM10 I'd recommend FM by a long way. This year it'll be possible to eventually get a new ground named after Almer Hall as, if all has gone to plan, he'll have legend status at the club.

Fottball manager is by far the better game, just seems a long time since we managed to get into the game. As soon as I manage to find the money for F.M. will be uploading your update mate thank you.

I think CMs latest move to include the Ryman and other feeders really forced FMs hand this year. As you rightly say we haven't been playable (at least without messing about in the editor) for a few years on FM. This year, it's meant to be easy to add in more leagues (Ryman, Southern, Unibond) and even cups. I've been doing the player stats for Margate for over three years, it's just a lot of the hard work went unnoticed unless you actually swapped Margate into a playable division... until FM10! Enjoy.
