Great result today, but have to say they were little better than a pub team, and felt sorry Billy Holland as he seamed to be playing on his own, but still a nice club and nice people, lets hope they can pull things round or they will not be playing at this level next season.

The opposition was poor and they caught us at the wrong time. Goalkeeper was woeful for them, had his Dida moment. Fantastic performance from the Urchins regardless of the opposition though.

Was very impressed with Wayne Gray. Looked strong in the air and held the ball up well and linked up superbly with Jo Flack. Flack looks a good signing for you and had a decent game.

 

Jonathon Hunt looked good in midfield. Seemed to have time on the ball all the time and rarely gave it away. You could tell he has played at a much higher level for much of his career.

 

Abbey were terrible though and their keeper was awful. Saying that bet he'll have a blinder when Canvey play Wabbey in two weeks!!!

What a great day.

Total first half performance.

It is not one player that has made the difference, it is a number of players, who have encouraged others with a new confidence to play the ball, rather than hoof it up the park. (Jonathon Hunt is quality though.)

Wabbey were poor, but that does not detract from our performance.
