Laz, I know the Great Eckscape but he isn't a mate of mine. I think TGE is pissed off with a couple of St Albans fans who were looking for a fight. Thing is the ones he was talking about are probably not EFM.

YELLOW ARMY 2003. If anyone at St. Albans is looking for a fight, they're either in EFM, or are Jon Farmer and are drunk and looking for an apology only.

 

I was present at the time of the sixth Canvey goal. When City are getting ripped apart, it is customary for SACFC to cheer for any opposition goals after 5. So we did. A few Canvey fans, for some reason, got rather p#ssed off with this and started having a go. Laz got kicked in the ######## for his troubles, and to this day he still doesn't know who it was. I still think it was YELLOW ARMY 2003. Anyway. Tell TGE to calm himself down, and not to get involved and start something he might not be able to finish <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

Yeah actually I remember this. Me, Zeal and Laz were singing 'we hate Aldershot and songs about various other teams. It was getting a bit lively but all good natured until one of our fans took exception and mouthed of. One of your young lads responded and Laz had to break it up. He was merely acting as peace maker and trying to calm everyone down. At this point I decided to move and was a little way along when the sixth goal went in. All a bit petty really.

I found Zeal after the match, had a joke with him about what happened and as you can recall was down the Jellicoe with you

That's what it looked like on the outside. You cleary didn't see the blade, followed closely by a great deal of claret and a Canvey fan screaming 'I've been stabbed!!!' <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

However, the mystery of what TGE's problem is is still unclear. A response would be welcome.

That Laz is a dark horse. From what I remember, Zeal tried to rope me into finding CANV at half time but I slipped away but he found me just before Parms' 25 yard thunderbolt which even Zeal went ballistic at.

Anyway the Canvey fans who inhabit this forum have not got a problem with EFM, so that's all you got to worry about.
