Hmmm... seems Gravesend were duped and those weren't the real opening day fixtures at all.

 

Thought you'd have spotted that a mile off Thornsy, given your own reputation for making up fixtures and inventing news items. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

 

All-time best one I thought, was when you claimed to be an official at the club a couple of years back, and announced we'd signed Mike Newell, ex-Blackburn!!

I remember the Newell spoof, had me done up like the proverbial kipper!!

 

Seems odd that the Ryman fixtures don't come out for another month considering the same firm does them all.

Fooled me as well, Rob. I remember sitting in the Fleetville Caff, getting excited, telling Thornsy we'd signed him, and Thornsy was just laughing at me!!

I also did that former norweign u21 international Trond Patterson had signed.

I went to a norweign website and cut and pasted a news article (in norweign) and stuck Trond Patterson and St.Albans City at various points in it.
