Don't know much about Johnson-their captain-but Harrison would be a superb capture-one of best(if not the best) strikers in ryman-a proper target man who scores regularly as well.

 

Will it happen though-would Ashford allow it to happen ?

If they're not on contracts it's just a 7 day approach and agreeing terms with the players themselves.

What we don't know of course is if those two are contracted at Ashford-having both been there for a couple of seasons-i suspect they are on contracts at Ashford.

 

I think it is important that you do have your players on proper contracts but can see both sides of the 'argument'.

 

Am i right that at the recent forum, KT said that there are 12 Margate players currently contracted ?

 

Even more importantly-at said forum-KP said that MB was not under contract-though discussions along those lines would continue.

I wonder whether MB is now contracted manager or whether it remains an honourary agreeement ?

Would love to see Harrison here. Always bagged goals at this level - certainly something we have been lacking really since the departure of Hockton - although there is an argument, of course, that Pinns was a prolific scorer (30, one season, wasn't it?)

Pinns got 27 in 2007/08 season. Doesn't seem to be as prolific at Maidstone though.

Need to think about this. Look at Ashford's position in the league and the number of games played! PLayers brought in need to be better than what we have not similar. Now he may fit into the "better" category, but he also needs to fit in with the other players already here.

Those two mentioned are definately in the "better" category IMO, as both score goals.

I guess we're talking about the challenege of becoming a manage during the season. We think Pinns was a great player but doesn't score as many for his new team - and he had pre-season with Maidstone! The other question is, who would we ship out so they could come in?
