With the councils kick in the bo****ks I think it may well be time to give up! You cant run a football club on the gate receipts of 300 people. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" />

But if the Club was properly run by the Supporters Trust it is likely that we could get some investment that would enable us to survive with the money that the members put in and the gate receipts combined.

 

Don't give up just yet. There's still a few more rounds of this whole saga to go and the fat lady hasn't even entered the fray yet!

If we had that attitude Wealdstone would be dead and buried now, keep believing and battling you can do it. Your support is greater than ours and a club run by the fans is the best way forward.

Giving up would be the easy thing to do. With some people (non-supporters of STFC) talking of the best way being forward as a merger with Windsor, I want to pull something off () to stick back in their faces <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif" alt="" /> to say ha ha, we're stronger than you thought.
