Hey Slaphead, I was a St John Ambulance Cadet (aged 13) at Harry Cripps' Testimonial v West Ham in 1972.

 

What a night, worst violence I've ever seen in or around a ground. The injuries we saw in the First Aid room was unreal. One Millwall fan came in with a screwdriver sticking out of his @rse!!!!

I was at said game...and yes it kicked off royally. If Hookey was in the SJA today, they still wouldn't let him pull it out.. :cheesy (2):
