i believe that that was the lesser of two evils for them, i think that a previous director was trying to get a winding up order and that was due to be heard in the courts soon ,but by going into administration negates that court action, i wouldn't wish that on any club, remeber but for the grace of god there go us.

This is very bad news. When we were in the Conference Bromsgrove were one of the friendliest and most welcoming clubs that we played against. Supporters were great and so was the ground, although a little quirky in design, but that just made it better. We had a reasonable record there too.

 

Hope the supporters get things sorted and turn the club round. We can't afford to lose well supported clubs like Bromsgrove

Yes very friendly they were one of the teams that voted to kick us out for not having 19 seats.

Mmmmm....surely the vote was also about us not having the financial backing to fund the season (the Thornes pulled out & transfer listed the players remember?). I understood the council was prepared to sort the seating if the Thornes would carry on. Anyway their (Bromsgrove) supporters didn't do the voting it was the club officials.

 

I don't like to see any club in this position, the supporters don't deserve it. I know how I've felt with our own precarious situation since that time over 11 years ago now and I don't wish it on any supporter!

I'm sorry Bernie, I'm just bitter and twisted you see 6 clubs voted to keep us in all from the south.
