Minus one now but have rung the club in case someone is on the waiting list.

Will be worth going to meeting if only for finding out who manager will be (cross fingers for Nev).

If somebody asks interesting questions,i am sure there will be alot more come out of the meeting than the 'mere' announcement of a new manager-;and it could be a very worthwhile and interesting meeting for hearing about off pitch matters .

It does not specifically say that the new manager will be present-just hopefully announced.

Thus i am assuming that any questions will need to be directed specifically to the Board and thus focus on general club matters as opposed to onfield/playing questions.

Great luck to the Youth squad tonight.

Agreed Michael, it will be particularly interesting to know when ground development starts, as I know that is still on the agenda, plus what sort of commercial things might now happen, ie after dinner speakers etc as Cliff is on board.

Personally I think, much as I would love to see Nev get it, it will go to someone else, probably Andy Ford if he has shown an interest. If that happens then we really will know Ian talks out of his backside

How come Sanderson doesn,t come on this forum for ages and then, as usual, he seems to be the first to know everything about this club when there is an important announcement. Why does he always try and interfere in an attempt to get one over on everyone on this board.

Dont worry Steve, nobody takes any notice of him much now, he always does this and of course at times is correct but most of the time incorrect as we have seen in the past. Believe me he knows nothing and is just trying to guess as usual.

Then, of course, if Nev does get the job he will be first to say I told you so but if he doesn't he will disappear again hopefully ;)

Alan, please dont tell me u r serious about Nev getting the job.

out the f a cup and f a trophy at the first hurdle, and no doubt the first club to be relegated.

Sorry Nev but when u walk in the bar with your head held hi and the fans try and chat a grunt is not good enough, lets get some passion back in to MFC

Well said Phil, MFC has been lacking passion for at least 3 seasons now. It is time we had a manager that has passion for the game, is experienced in non league football, having built up contacts. A manager that appreciates that having a strong defence builds confidence throughout the team, hence results can be ground out even when not playing well. This season is now IMO a case of survival whilst we develop players, strengthen the squad so that next season we hit the ground running with a realistic chance of a successful cup and trophy run to go with a play off place if not promotion in its own right. Taking that all in too consideration then i think there must be a short list of people in the running for the managers job which IMO should include Andy Ford, Iain O'Connell, amongst others.

Agree with most but not about being relegated, also the sooner we get a proper boardroom again the better, then the manager will have somewhere to go without having to listen to fans who think they know his job better than him.(Which they might of course)Another reason to return to the proper boardroom, it would eliminate "hangers on" because of its size. "hangers on"! if anyone reading this feels guilty then its probably you.

I am deadly serious Phil, like Derek I don't see why a manager has to be able to chat in the bar after the game with fans. Nev does a lot for the club as a whole, not just the first team, which is why he has my vote.
