Thank you Uncle.

I take it we have to make our own way there.

Newcastle, eh? Not picking someone up are we...!?

Finally, where on Earth is Erith & Belvedere? Sounds like a couple of aunties!

nothing to dramatic...as you all probably know..John Gowans our full time physio is a 'geordie boy' and has a lot of connections up there...

the team are traveling up for the weekend...staying together in a hotel and practising together as well as playing two ....friendly friendlies...

the idea is to get the whole squad together and spend a full two days practising and playing....

sounds like a good idea to me.....

they wanted me to join in and show 'em the ropes but I'm morris dancing that weekend so had to turn 'em down.....

Hi uncle, is the morris dancing weekend open to the general public to come and watch you perform or are you doing it in the confinds of your own home ?

It must be very important if it's keeping you away from the newcastle trip.

Miss Urchin, Erith and Belvedere are based in Kent very near to Gravesend. As mentioned in a previous post they are crap!!

I wouldn't have minded taking in your friendly against Basildon on the 22nd July but unfortunately Canvey have a friendly against The Daggers that night which could be very entertaining. I will attempt to make a few visits to The Stadium next year and sample what delights Hornchurch FC can offer me. I know of one already

the pre season agenda is designed to prepare the team for the forthcoming premier league campaign....not to provide entertainment.

that will come during the league programme itself....

come the real start of the season... I am sure we will all be pleased to get back down to the Stadium.
