What has happened to the following Players

I have been looking at the squad on the MFC website and it appears to me to be well out of date. There are players on there that i am aware have left MFC for varying reasons. Does anyone know what has happened to the following players, are they still with MFC or not?

Mark BERESFORD

Narada BERNARD

Aaron BEECH

Jamie LAWRENCE

Olti KECI

Kien MILLINGTON

Shane BROWN

Chris LEWIS

Dan GONZALES-BELLO

Shaun ALLISTON - injured or more likely left

Mark BERESFORD - on loan at Lordswood

Narada BERNARD - left

Aaron BEECH - left

Jamie LAWRENCE - left

Olti KECI - reserves ?

Kien MILLINGTON - left

Shane BROWN - reserves ?

Chris LEWIS - reserves ?

Dan GONZALES-BELLO - reserves ?

 

The last 3 are definitely also playing Sunday League football for Generation Sports.

Roberto is still recovering from injury but hopes to start training again very soon. I think he now full comprehends that coming back when not fully recovered does more harm.

 

The big positive about Roberto is that his father still comes to as many games as he can.

Unfortunately, the reason the web site is so out of date is for several reasons.

Firstly the four home Saturday games in a row left me constantly working on the programme in all my spare time for a month.

Then a severe virus wiped out a lot of my software and I spent a whole week off work getting it fixed. You may have seen my thread elsewhere praising the people who have got it sorted for me.

Now that it is fixed I am catching up with everything that I have got behind on and I am afraid that 'real life' things have to come before re-installing the software to update the web site.

Finally, other than Beresford being on loan, I have not been informed of changes to any of the other players situations and cannot remove them until I know for a fact they have gone.

 

So it is not a case of can't be bothered, simply that I have not had either the time or means of late. The new board will only change that if they can find someone else willing to get grief off their wife for updating a web site instead of spending time with them or if they want to employ me so I do not have to do a proper job as well!

whilst it may not be perfect-i think a better job is done by volunteers on this , than most clubs at this level.

 

Maybe you could ask the Board that specific question on friday night MMan ?

 

I do agree that for us supporters-player news/updates does get supporters juices flowing and should be recognised as such by the club ;but again- i maintain a better job is done of it than most clubs-particularly this season.

All updated now from information I have gathered from here. The only one I have not updated yet is King as we are still a bit sketchy on his first name.

Also updated the club staff page with the new directors.

Steve and Wellsie do a great job, in their own time may I add, in updating the site and dont deserve comments like that IMO. For the records Jeff is correct in that some of the lads are in the Reserves.

I particularly like the section-gone but not forgotten-as a reminder of who has gone through the revolving doors this campaign.

 

Interesting though that we still have a large nucleous of last year squad,and despite the apparent disruption with all the comings and goings, the core of the squad is stable; suspect that ironically, there are more players in the current squad who were here 12 months ago than the vast majority of clubs at non league level.

Bit of a dichotomy that?
