The Daggers are going on about signing Teddy Sheringham (although he's apparently signed for someone in the J-League, some think he'll go there to get fit for a month or two!!)

 

Maybe Andy should go for Dean Holdsworth. Is Gazza still available?

I very much doubt that dagenham will sign sherringham. Many prem clubs still want him and they must have used up most of their wage budget by now surely???

Baptiste would be a great signing but is this just another rumour?

word is the Redknapps after sheringham for Portsmouth, so I doubt the Daggers will get him

Speculation about strikers. I stil think that given the chance Budgie, beast and Louie can do it for us. Budgie can obviously finish, and his first touch is world class, just needs that first goal. Beast just needs consistency and Louie just needs starts i think. Tait, however, would still be a good signin because of the amount of goals he scored for the bottom of table Folkestone.

Tait has another year of his contract to run at Folkestone, and they are very well aware of his value.

I can see why people call for an experienced striker, but i would put my trust in Louie, Budgie and Beast. All an experienced 20+ goal a striker would do is be what andy does not want...someone who is not really that bothered about playing for the Fleet.

Budgie isnt quick enough, Louie is a man to play behind the strikers in a diamond formation and the beast will be a consistent scorer hopefully. If u go with those three we have a lot of iffs and buts..We need a new striker, simple as that. Whens Andy Ford going on holiday ??
