What a Pleasant area

Eastside Urchin

Our stadium is situated in,on site we have resident badgers, foxes and more than likely the odd squirrel, stoat or weasel.

And we all know about our herons that visit along with the much increased little egret

Last night on my walk to the ground i spotted 2 foxes, heard woodpeckers, saw a water rail(looks a bit like a moorhen, but hardly seen) saw squirrels but best of all i saw 3 kingfishers flying past me and this was all within a 5 minute walk down the ingrebourne from the optomist.

This was my favourite walk to the ground ever, usually it is drab just going past houses but my new location means i can sample the delights of the ingrebourne valley before a game now

Happy days
