I'm neither pro nor anti, GHA, but I always like to see the national team win, whatever the sport is.

I play rugby, S_C_C. I'm not a lightweight, either. Although you might want to talk to CANV if you want to talk to rugby players. He is, after all, a bit closer to home than me!

RUgby a great sport and the only world cup we might stand a chance of winning is the rugby one. And its rugby union thats the best sport, rugby league sucks. I would find it hard to choose between footy and rugby. Feel passionately bout the footy team i support, dont really support a rugby team but love playing the game.

I disagree. Union is a grat sport but League is just as good. It is faster paced and when played properly has the same amount of skill.

At least they don't pad up as much as those big nancy-boys who play NFL. AND... It seems they take all day just to play one game !

Rugby League isn't at all faster paced. It's all stop start. You can be a sub in league and come on and not touch the ball for 10 minutes, but in Union you're basically straight in on the action.

NFL is quality. It lasts 3 hours, Big J.R. and they pad up for a reason.
