Former Woking FC star Ian Selley is starting up a soccer skills school under an Arsenal FC franchise with Knaphill FC the location for his first boot camp in the October half term week.

 

The 35 year old midfielder who was with the Gunners between 1990 and 1997 before signing for Kevin Keegan's Fulham for £500,000 has limited availability for children aged five to twelve for the five day course that starts on Monday October 26.

 

The sessions will run from 10am to 3pm on each day. "I'm looking at catering for anywhere between 20 and 35 children," he said. "Its the first one and I'm looking forward to it. Hopefully there will be a lot of interest and the facilities at Knaphill are good.

 

Selley had a four year spell at Kingfield between 2003 and 2007 and ex-card Karl Murray has offered to help, as has Dorchester City manager Roy O'Brien, Selley having been playing for the south coast side.
