i spoke to gary i think it was at the burnham game , he was really pi**ed off that he was unable to play at the moment and thought that the earliest he was likely to get back into training was december, but would like it to be sooner if possible and was making every effort towards that goal.

I think it will be a great shame if Craig goes, apart from the fact that I like him, he always changes the game everytime he comes on. I also agree with Kay about him gelling with the fans.

Windsorian: as i am sure you are aware, based on your football knowledge spanning 40 years, one player does not make a club.

It would be sad to lose Craig and i for one hope he stays. Good luck for the season.

One player does not make a team correct, my point is players even at non-league level are not motivated by club loyalty, players like Paul Brett and Steve Daly are a rarity. Most players would rather play for a club with the level of the support of burnham if they were being paid more or playing with their mates, just to hear a few chants is not really going to make a difference and it is just silly to think that it would.

Good to see SB fighting to keep Craig O'Connor at the club with a counter offer to Burnham's.

 

Probably only possible because of our cup runs.
