So, Burnham have put in a 7 day approach for Craig O'Connor.

 

Apart from, at the present time, being top of the division I can't think of any other reason why he would want to go to Burnham.

 

Money wise there cannot be hardly any difference and as we know Burnham have a p#ss poor home support and no away support.

 

A village team that will never attract a crowd of any significance on a regular basis.

Craig shouldnt go to Burnham. At the moment he has sinclair, sealey, herron, hibbert, keano and edgeworth for service. On top of that he is our best striker and will play if he is fully fit whereas at Burnham they have dean papali who has been playing up front with another guy who used to be a defender ( I think!!)

 

Cant see how the move will help him or us :)

You can have Richardson if you want him!! One good game for us so far. And that was a cameo vs a side in the league below.

 

Shame Craig never made the grade at a higher level for whatever reason. He was electric in the 03/04 Season but hasnt looked the same since.

That's just it. Jarvis is looking for someone to partner Papali. Burnham are not conceding many goals but are also finding it difficult to score.

I think it would be a real shame if Craig left. He seems to be one of the few that the fans have gelled with so far this season. I doubt that the Burnham fans would come up with as many songs for him either. Not to mention the fact that my Alfie likes playing with his Alfie and chasing around on thier bikes, means I get to watch a bit of the game for a change
