I was feeling a bit shy last night! I was going to come up and say something but I thought it might have been a bit odd if I just walked up and said 'I'm chubbhead'! I was wearing a t-shirt with a skull and cross-bones on it which was shredded at the top. Was anyone else from this board there last night?

I must admit I do look out for potential chubbhead's in O'Neills normally but can't remember the t-shirt.

I wasn't out on friday, I spent the night in as I had work at 8.30 in the morning and I wanted to see the new 'Bo'selecta!' series. Sad!

 

If you go on that quiz machine near the fron entrance and go into the 'High scores' section of the music quiz, you will see my name right at the top! I was standing by that machine most of the night. I was going to go over to you later but I think you'd left by that point.

Me and two others went on it on Friday, naturally on the footie section. £5 won if you come top in the high scores. We were doing outstandingly well, and came to a question near to the end which said something like 'who was the oldest goalkeeper in the World Cups' or something. My natural thought was Dino Zoff, but the choices were Tony Adams (Defender), Hierro (Defender), someone like Del Piero (Striker), and Roger Milla (striker)! I entered Miller, as he was the oldest player, but it was wrong! Came second highest, the high scores should say TAT at 2nd position, and LIDDLE at 4th position.

 

Beehive was 'pumping' on Friday, live DJ playing a drum 'n' bass set which was pretty good, although only stayed in there for one.

Well, I had a great time watching the new 'Bo selecta!' series. It's JUST as good as a night out! (note: this is said with sarcasm)

 

I also played the 'Girls Only' game and I got the second highest score! Unfortunately I scored '0' on the men section of the game which is rather ominous!

Oi EFMTFTV, I was in the Hogshead for a couple, then the Beehive for one, before moving on to O'Neills (had to make sure I got in before 11, y'see).

I did quite well on the music section, I seem to remember.

When that pub was the Firkin, I used to clean out the top of the pops machine every week.

I never went in there when it was The Firkin as I was too young. Or at least, I looked too young.

 

Ooh yeah, our night out ended in the Adelaide (classy!)., and on a rather controversial note! I don't know what it is about that place, both times I've been in there something has happened. I think it's because it's where everyone goes when they're pissed, to get even more pissed and then they do stupid things. I don't know if I should tell you though, but it is quite a juicy piece of gossip...

Well, I could post it on here, seeing as you probably won't know the people involved! The names of people in the following story have been changed to protect their identity:

 

Right, last night I went out with my brother's best mate Dan, this guy that I used to fancy(and who I asked out- he turned me down. I have no feelings for him anymore so that's cool.) called Ian and we were later joined by Dan's sister Julie and here mate Jenny (whose having a bit of a 'thing' with Dan). Still with me?!

 

So we ended up in the Adelaide, all of us pissed as farts. Dan and Jenny were 'getting it on' and me Ian and Julie were all dancing away. Next thing I know I turn around and Ian and Julie were snogging! This presents the following problems:

1. Julie's married(14 years) with two kids.

2. Ian's 21, she in her late 30s.

3. Ian's sister goes out with Dan's brother.

4. Dan hates Ian anyway, so this just made it worse.

5. Julie's husband is not a very nice man and given that it was in the middle of a night club, there's every possibilty he could find out.

 

As you can see, controversy all around!

I could tell you the story of my parents, now that was quite a tangled web in the style of the above!

Well no, I stayed out of it other then trying to calm my friend down and prevent him from hitting the other one and chatting to Julie after. I got a lift home with her and her husband afterwards as well! She says it was just a drunken kiss and that she doesn't even fancy him, I don't know what he thinks though!
