Friendly vs Folkestone

More importantly, after our usual early cup exits as well, the cash flow-never great at the best of times i imagine-must be under severe pressure with the lack of prize money and home gate receipts for over a month.

(maybe if Billericay lose tonight-unlikely just the same-that midweek game will be brought forward to the 31st )

While I don't subscribe to the theory that as we have new board members that have some personal wealth they will dig deep and often, I would have thought that the new business plan they bring will have envolved a SWOT analysis providing with it a plan for such a short term issue.

Still, maybe we can have a MFC Old Boys Tax, charging each player that has donned the shirt £1 - That should bring in a few quid - This seasons keepers could probably renovate the Coffin End on their own!

Ashley Groombridge is a good player, Jake was right when he says he played for Woking Reserves. Can play wide or up top.. and very quick. Played in the same team as him for a few years. Will be a good addition. I assume he will be used most as an impact sub.. pace to burn and mighty skillful.

Is it just me who gets fed up with these lightweight impact players who supposedly have loads of skill and pace-and are thus completely useless in the Ryman.

Two minutes of stepovers on the wing seems to equate with many as being skillful and thus a good player-regardless that they make no contribution whatsoever for the remaining 87 minutes of a game.

Can we have some ugly brutes who have no skill whatsoever, but are physically equipped to bully their way to victory ,and are just not nice

Just had a quick peek at the FIFC forum, and they are saying 2-0 to us although it's been all Folkestone.
