under 15;s remain unbeaten

the go between

Recommended Posts

The under 15;s made it 6 games unbeaten today and stay second in kent league with a workmanlike 3-1 victory over Hollands and Blair today . A game in which we always seemed kind of in control of, and yet the result was in doubt right up to the killer third 15 minutes from time . Blair were much improved from last year as there recent 2-1 defeat to Ashford borough and their victory over Ramsgate suggested .

Goals from Jamie Gregory-Davis , Harvey Colston with a fine header, and Connor Lintott wrapped up the points, all 3 goals were as a result of assists from Josh Twyman on his return from ramsgate

Next week is a week off for the lads before our local derby with the Rams on November 1st at St Lukes .

Todays squad was Josh Mattless , Connor Barham , Daniel Osgood , James Olver , Connor Armstrong , Nick Symaka , Ryan Freedman , Alex Miles© , Jamie Gregory Davis , Daniel Gregory Davis , Shane Mitchell , Tre' Mitford , Josh Twyman , Connor Lintott , Ollie Sharpe and Harvey Colston .

Excellent news, look like the under 15's are a tight knit, hard working team. Congratulations to the team and to all who are involved with coaching, managing and chauffering the team.

just going back to the last match, I was talking to the ref of the match last night, and he said it was a really good game, he really enjoyed it. He particularly commented on the level of skill shown with the passing and he picked out one of the strikers and one of the midfielders as being hot prospects. He also commented on another player, I'm assuming was a defender, who was strong in the tackle and really good in the air, suprisingly good as the lad is quite short. He was suprised that some of our players arent on the books at league clubs with the skill levels shown.

thanks for the positive feedback Freefred , there certainley are a number of good prospects within our squad and the whole group of 19 lads are all very dedicated and enthusiastic and can hopefully feature at a decent senior level in 2-3 years .

With such good judgement that Ref should be plying his trade at a much higher level! :D
