Wesley Bocking - A great player. Left foot, right foot, powerful in the air. Saw him against Takeley two weeks ago and the Takeley central defender had to be replaced after Bocking gave him such a rough ride.

Seems like a genuine lad too who just enjoys his football.

Well done Wes on your fantastic start to the season. I hear Ilford have been sniffing aroung. Maybe worth something to think about.

Hullbridge Sports, despite the recent appointments, will still finish in the bottom 4 of the table.

Having sources very close to Chris Wood and the Ilford management team I know that Basildon will be receiving a '7 dayer approach' for Wes very soon. Whether he is interested in going is another thing. I would imagine he would like to test himself.

Richard not trying to unsettle the lad at all. Your one of many admirers of the boy. He clearly has a great eye for goal and its not suprise at all that clubs from the Ryman league are taking a look. Having scored an impressive treble against Burnham in the cup I think a few more may sit up and take notice of Basildon but especially Bocking.

How old is the lad anyway?

haha Bocks is staying put!! ilford wont be his bag no way! as i said before he is happy and the offer would have 2 be miles better then that! Told ya fellas we have something over Basildon most clubs can only dream of. We all wanna play for each other and the management we r the tighest squad iv ever been in and all love each other!! saying that come have a look at me. number 10. hahaha x

Ha ha well said Rich!!Mind you they might need a forward...they have Troy from Clapton and Anton from ehmm well Bas,Bowers,S.Manor,Heybridge feck me and who else? Altough they gave a good run for their money to Concord tonight but a quick thinking Jack Carlile and Big D clever finishing unlocked them. :futbolbud2:

The approach has been made. Basildon will be receiving the 7 day approach this morning. Its then up to Wes.
