Im new to the forum and would like to start my 1st topic on talking about the striker i support at Basildon United!!

We had a good win yest away to league leaders Burnham and my main man Wes Bocking banged in a super HATRICK.

I play along side this fella and what a player, strong as an ox and has a shoot that rips every net out in the league along side this is a top fella! We had Gilliam here last year and true it might be that he is a good player and i would never take that away from him, he was a bad egg and caused lots of problems within the camp so it was nice to have him replaced with some1 of the quality of our very own WESLEY BOCKING!!!! take a bow my son!!

Good for the lad.He certainly deserves a chance at higher level.I believe it won't be long there will be Ryman clubs sniffing around.

I have been watching Basildon utd for a few years now and i have been very impressed with what Ive seen so far this season. Bocking is on fire right now and I will not be suprised if he generates some interest pretty soon. Although there is no doubt Wes has been superb there is quality all throughout the side this season. With Baker and Merchant bossing the middle of the park on saturday and Robbo now on the wing, looking ever dangerous, the boys are a pleasure to watch right now. The backline looked solid yesterday too with special mention for Thomo making his first start for the sidelined Guest (who has also been immense for the bees so far this season) Thomo slotted in well and considering he's not played much looked sharp and solid. Mark Palmer has also been a great asset to the team. dissappointing that we now appear to be out of the essex cup.. not sure what went on there? Although its eary days I do feel we have a strong enough side to compete for the top spot this season. Hopefully we prove to be a little more consistent than last season.

first of all let me assure you that wesley Bocking is going nowhere and coachie is skating on very thin ice with our club after stirring things up over our Essex Senior Cup match.

Yesterdays performance was superb and the team spirit in the camp is magnificent.There are no billy big boll0cks at basildon just a group of hard working,talented and down to earth lads, they dont play for the pound note just the love of the club.

unless im mistaken wes came from bowers, we have nicked a few good players from them recently,we arent going to win the league but will give many of the big clubs a good spanking.

Oii oii Rich i haven't stirred anything.I barely reported what we have been sent from the County FA regarding our Essex Senior Cup postponement.Surely it ain't my fault if you played an inelegible player.I definitely wanted to play Bas in the Cup as a local derby rather than going on a thursday night to Apsa.Plus winning away to Burnham it's not that difficult in a "take points off each other league".Even Mauritius went so close!

wes never played for bowers but did sign for them last year even without crossy seeing him play. never played a game. i met wes when the sunday league we played in had a rep side which had 3players from each side go to a trial, of course wes got in then i got him over at bowers a few years ago wen i was over there in the ressies! he game over played 1 game and still banged in 2 goals from only being on 4 15mins. then since then we have played at same clubs!! i wanna stop talking bout him people mite start thinking i like him 2much!!! haha
