Samson King

Had a bit of a look on the net for a footballer called Samson King but only found recent mentions of him being on trial (briefly) at Orient. Nothing else really. Did find a Danish player called Salomon King and wondered if that could be our man ? Must admit I didn't hear him speaking much Danish yesterday though.

He is massive, the other players told me they have nicknamed him "The Tank". Seems to get on well with others too, saw him laughing and joking whilst warming up with other subs.

I guess we all have a different take on massive

 

Was not that massive to me-barely six foot but muscular yes.

Did'nt seem to be blessed with great aerial ability.

 

Two shots-one superb volley for the goal (which i suspect he could not repeat ) and one wild shot.

Lots of enthusiasm though.

 

Jury is still out for me-and in fairness ,you can't judge much in 20 minutes.

 

What i'm not sure of is whether he is a striker or defender

From what I've gathered from the World Wide Web, defence seems to be his normal position.

He definitely played in defence in his September trial game for Orient's reserves against Gillingham - he was subbed at half time. Jacob Erskine scored twice for the Gills side. Seems strange there's nothing else about a footballer called Samson King on the net and when he trialled with Orient they didn't seem to know anything about him - that's what made me wonder if the name's not quite right.

Massive, as in chest size I meant Michael. Strange defender is mentioned as when I first asked Ken Tomlinson who new player was he said a centre half!

saw him for a few minutes in training thursday, looked strong and seemed to have good,quick feet.
