AFTER the arrival of John Ray as assistant, Essex Senior League Hullbridge Sports’ first team manager Enrico Tiritera has added more signings to his management staff.

The new arrivals are Derek Robinson, Steve Portway and Ray Fontaine.

Robinson is the former Burnham Ramblers manager and West Ham Academy UEFA B coach and scout, while Portway had an enviable scoring record for Gravesend, Gloucester City, Romford, Chelmsford City and Barking and Fontaine is a fitness trainer.

The trio, plus Ray, will look after first team affairs with existing manager Enrico Tiritera assisting them in a supervisory role.

Tiritera said: “The arrival of these valuable people signals our intention, after 20 years in the Essex Senior League, to take Hullbridge Sports forward.

“We will make every single effort, leaving no stone unturned, in our quest for success.

“Our aim is to fulfil the great potential the club has and to follow the footsteps of former Senior League neighbour clubs Great Wakering Rovers and Concord Rangers.

“From now on Hullbridge mean business!”

Both Wakering and Concord moved up from the Senior League to the Ryman League.

Echo article following week:

Just to make it clear following additions to the management staff, long serving boss Enrico is still very much in charge at Lower road.

There is only one appointed manager by the club and that one is the undersigned.

Following a phone call from my friend Del,i decided to bring him,Ports and fitness trainer Roy in to work with assistant manager Johnny Ray and under my supervision. We are all working together to make sure we can take Hullbridge forward with a proper management structure.I heard people saying that too many chiefs can spoil the broth but i can assure you everybody is aware of his role here anf if a problem arise you'll see me stepping in.At the moment i can only see a group of people working together and very hard to turn things around. The rest is all bollix. :coffee (2):
