He's never made a secret of the fact he wants to manage at a higher level and to do so he has to do well at Windsor so it's Win-Win! Windsor fans know there are bigger clubs out there and wont think bad of any player or manager who wants to give it a go. But that's a bridge to cross if and when it happens.

 

Hearing him Speak about not getting the wycombe job it seems there is a difference of opinion with him and the current chairman about the future of Wycombe so that looks unlikely for him at the moment. But football is a funny old game!

All managers and players move on at some point, managers last what, 5 years at best at our level? They either are good and get picked up or are not and leave by "mutual consent" All we can hope is that we get a good manager and we are playing at at least the next level up when Scotty does go. I think the general consensus is that it is easier to stay in the level above than get out of the level you are in, seems to be right up to about the conf South.

Trust me, Slough are not the only team who know there are some rubbish managers out there!!!

But as you say Woody it is a funny old game and enjoy it whilst you can cos it ain't gonna last forever......
